Super Bowl Ad Review…coming soon
Now that we’ve finally got our Internet access back… we’ll soon be posting our 2010 Super Bowl ad review.
We’ll post comments on some of the ads, plus a ‘winners & losers’ section… though I’m not sure what we’ll call it. Hmmm. We’ll likely just go with ‘Winners & Losers.’
A few that will be in that section include Doritos, Bud Light, Coke, Cars.com, Career Builder, Teleflora & FloTV. But you’ll have to check back to see whom we’ll call the winners and whom we’ll call the losers. Oohh the suspense…
Super Bowl ad space sold out
CBS announced this week that ad space for February’s Super Bowl is sold out, according to Advertising Age.
The cost for a 30-second spot in the Big Game is coming in between $2.5 million and $3 million.
We’ll be watching the ads and, as we have for the last year or two, providing a Commercial Wrap Up, with our very own RZR Super Bowl Commercial Ratings and video links to each spot.

Hugh Jackson to the Raiders
As we reported on RZR Mobile, Raven’s quarterback coach Hugh Jackson is reportedly close to terms with the Oakland Raiders to become their new offensive coordinator, per Michael Smith of ESPN.
Jackson worked with head coach Tom Cable at Cal State Fullerton in 1990 and at the University of California in 1996. Jackson would make the second Raider hire of someone who has previous coaching experience with Cable. Last week, the Raiders hired Mike Waufle, who also served with Cable at Cal State, to coach the defensive line.
This makes too much sense to be happening in Oakland.
Update: Jerry McDonald of the Baltimore Sun has confirmed the report.
Jackson’s statement from the Baltimore Sun:
“After much consideration I have decided to accept a position as offensive Coordinator with the Oakland Raiders. I will miss the fans here and I thank them for all the encouragement and support they have shown me while I called Baltimore my home. I’d like to extend my deepest gratitude to Steve Bisciotti, Ozzie Newsome, Dick Cass and especially Coach John Harbaugh who brought me to Baltimore. Baltimore will always hold a special place in my heart and I’m especially thankful for the opportunities I’ve had to work with a world class organization, a top notch coaching staff and some of the best talent in the league.”

An apology
I have to apologize to all of my faithful followers. (All 10 of them.) I haven’t posted a single thing since the NFL division match-ups.
On the other hand, if you’re looking here for News & NFL Insight, then you must be new to this whole Internet thing.
I’ll get back at it soon, hopefully in time for the Super Bowl. And I’ll try to light a fire under the RZR staff, so I’m not the only one keeping this ship afloat.
Because it feels like we’re sinking fast.
